Here's How to Restore It
Many people today store all of their important information in their favorites bar. Not only does it help them to organize everything, but it also helps to make things faster when they are looking for something in a pinch. While you expect everything to be there when you need it, there might come a time when your toolbar goes missing and now you are left trying to figure out how to recover it. Thankfully, it isn't as complicated as you might think. To help restore your toolbar and get back into your favorites menu, follow these simple steps below.
Go to the top right-hand corner of your Web browser. Look for the menu button. The menu button is identified as the three little lines stacked on top of one another.
Once you click on the menu button, you will see a bunch of other options available to you. Click on the one that says bookmarks. Then, click on the one that says show bookmarks bar. Next thing you know, your bookmarks toolbar is back and you are ready to start using it once again.
Another way to do the same thing is to hold down CTRL, Shift and B at the same time. Either way you go about it, both are going to restore your toolbar and have you back in your favorites in no time.
Now that you have it back, you are probably worried about what you did to make it disappear in the first place. Many people inadvertently click on hide bookmarks without even realizing it. The good thing is that your toolbar is never very far away. However, if you do happen to delete a bookmark, you cannot recover that.
This is why it is more important than ever that you make sure you read any dialogue box that pops up asking you if you are sure you want to delete an item. Once you click on yes, you aren't going to be able to undo what you did. Your browser is loaded with all sorts of different features that make it one of the most functional tools of all time.
If you are ever unsure of what you are doing or where to go to find something, you can always use the help function or search feature. Both will help point you in the right direction and make sure you get what you need quickly and easily. The next time your Chrome toolbar disappears from your favorites, just follow the simple tips above to get back to where you were.
